The Caves The Caves are to be found under the massive range of the Black mountains, which form the southeast border of Necromania. The river Stragyr has flooded them partly, and therefore can become quite complicated to find your way through. The caves form a confusing entanglement of corridors and deadends which are home to vampire bats. Yet, that is not by any means the only danger creeping through the caves. One of the last ancient wells of the dark power of Necromania - Astrongroth, still exists deep under the Black mountains. Here, the river of Stragyr has its springs. Through cracks in the rocks, spires of flames penetrate into the caves from here. The lethal power of them destroys anybody foolish enough to have come too close. Traps, which have been laid to protect the way to the other side of the mountain range through the subterranean system are as much of a danger, though.
